Psychotherapy for Young Adults & Students in Massachusetts and California

Life Can be Hard.

You may find yourself here because you are struggling- struggling to take care of yourself, struggling in relationships, or struggling to handle all that life is throwing at you. When life is so demanding and moves so fast, it can be hard to slow down and find the best path forward.

There is hope.

As hard as life can be, there is a way forward. Humans are incredibly resilient- not only can we survive, we can thrive! Psychotherapy has proven to be effective in helping people overcome adversity, learn to live more adaptively, feel more connected in our relationships, live a life that feels meaningful and purposeful, and most importantly…feel good! The great news is- you don’t have to do it alone!

Here’s How I Can Help.

A young man with glasses, a beard, and brown hair smiling while seated on a brown leather armchair, wearing a blue blazer, light blue dress shirt, and tan pants, against a plain white wall.

Hello, my name is DJ, and I am a psychotherapist helping teens and adults navigate through some of life’s biggest challenges. I can help you feel more compassionate towards yourself and courageous towards life.

I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors with curiosity and openness rather than judgment.

I help you find a way to feel connected to your strengths and help you address what may be holding you back. When we learn to listen and connect with all parts of our inner world, we end up feeling more alive, take better care of ourselves, and improve the quality of our relationships.

How we work together…

I look for the strengths and honor the individuality in every person I work with. Therapy is something we create together- based on your your personality, preferences, and what brings you to therapy. I take an integrative approach towards your therapeutic needs and draw from multiple evidence-based practices that help you set the agenda and work towards a better life.

"Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it."
